Research Interests

My interests lie in the area of organic chemistry in general and synthetical organic chemistry in particular with key topics like asymmetric catalysis, organofluorine compounds in particular. I am currently looking for The total synthesis of biologically active natural products is another area I find very appealing but which I unfortunately have not yet had the chance to work on.

Asymmetric Catalysis

jA mainstay has been me and what I do (chemistry). It's a good place to visit if you want to fall asleep

Synthesis of biological active natural products

This is an area I am very fond of but that I have not worked on. The total synthesis of biological active natural products. This is an area which I haven't had the pleasure to work with and only know through.

ABOUT ASYMMETRIC CATALYSIS
The book Modern Reduction Methods by Pher Andersson (Editor), Ian Munslow (Editor) has just been released and is for sale in various book stores. Several present and former co-workers of mine have contributed to this book which I think would be a great asset for a research chemist to have at hand. The publisher has also made a sample chapter from the the book is available for download on their web-site.More details about the
